  1. Does anyone know of any program that can capture web video to a video file. There are streaming films ive tried capturing while they have been playing but they just come back blank.

Ive tried snagit and camtasia and the dont do media player films.

Does anyone have a program or know who does one.

    Thanks

We use a upscale scan converter to convert our xga to s-video and record on a DV deck. When you can't steal the file off the server using asf recorder this gives the next best quality. We connect our soundcard out to the stereo L-R in. We then capture the dv.avi and then crop the avi with virtualdub. Its not perfect but gives you the ability to copy anything you can see on your screen with no frame drops or audio sync issues.

What you are looking for is Streambox VCR and ASF_Recorder. They work great... even for files meant for "streaming only".
