I have gotten pretty good at ripping and creating my own VCD's
I have A Pioneer DV-440 Home DVD player (It is supposed to be capable of reading both VCD and SVCD)
I typically download various music videos from the net fom sites like the following....
http://www.eurodanceparty.com/indexx.html
The videos are in PAL SVCD format
I use NERO to burn the Videos to CD (I have purchased the MPEG2 Codec to allow for SVCD)
When I play the videos however, the picture just rolls. Audio is excellent, however, but the picture just won't stay still. It is like waves on the ocean, only the waves in this case are the picture rolling from top to bottom!!
VCD's play excellent though
I just want to enjoy the higher quality of SVCD's
I am not interested in making movie SVCD's, I just want to enjoy watching my music videos.
Is the picture rolling because the video is PAL format?
How can I convert the videos over to NTSC? I am familiar with TMPEnc and have also paid for its MPEG2 codec. If I need to convert, please tell me how.....
Do I need to convert my videos to NTSC then rip them to SVCD, or am I missing something?
Many Thanks!!!
Vegas
