I am trying to convert a file with a avi extension that I can view with Windows Media player into the mpeg format that VCDs are in, but when I use TMPG to convert it, it says the file "could not be opened or is unreadible". I don't understand what is going on...... I am wondering whether there is an universal converter that converts everything to AVI, or is there something I am not doing correctly on TMPG ? can someone give me advice on what to do ?
