i'm using Adobe 6 try to export timeline -> movie-> .AVI file. It keeps stopping at around 4 gig. I have 60 Gig drive Fat32. Can someone tell me why. I recently convert Fat32 to NTFS cause I'm using W2k, i'll try that next.
thanks in advance.

I think you might find that the size limit of an avi is 4 gigs - virtualdub kind of says so anyway.
Can't you just split to smaller size avis....
or stop and then re-start for remaining capture.

Well unfortunately Windows platform, except the new '2000 edition , The maximum file size is 4 gigs, There is nothing you can do about this I believe except upgrade to '2000 or use Windows NT, No file limit in either one.!
Hope this helps -
i believe konhelgo is correct about the 4gig filesize limit for avi files, and besides if your running win9x or me, which uses the fat32 file system, the file size limit for any file is 4gig. but there is a way around it, there's this program for win9x & me that will let you convert your file system to ntfs, its called ntfs for win9x (isnt it irionic, dont you think?). anyhow, you can get this program at apachez.net, under the 'tools' section.
good luck fock a duck
