    does any1 know what programs accept vbr ac3? dvdit does but my dvdit keeps crashing, spruce up doesnt, any others?

    Try DVD Workshop (demo avaiable). Until v 1.3 comes out you'll have to use TMPGenc to mux the video and audio before bringing into the program. I know it works with CBR AC3, don't know about VBR.
