HIya
I own Creative's Digital VCR and have tried several times to convert to (S)VCD. I know it works because I got one to burn using Nero 5.5.9.9 with the newer SVCD plugin. However, since that one successful burn it locks up each time. It asks whether I want to re-encode or Turn Off compliance (I honestly think I re-encoded, but it locks up each time I tried since then).
Does anyone know a good method to burn these supposed MPEG-2 files into a format my Apex 1100W reads? Digital VCR doesn't appear to be compatible with many things besides the occassional Windows Media Player...and even then the moon has to be in alignment with Saturns outer rings!
What should the settings read? I am very confused after making multiple 'coasters' without any results.
P.S. Yes, I converted to the file output that is an mpeg format.

use tmpgenc to encode to MPEG-2, nero's encoder is awful. then just drag your mpeg-2 file across..

Hiya Geek,
I actually tried that option using TMPGEnc 2.58.44.152 (I think) and it said that the mpeg file that DigitalVCR makes is not a file it will accept. I'll spend a little more time again, but it keeps tryingto find an *.avi file and separate audio. Any ideas how to make it understand to convert my mpeg file?
I'll attempt again.
Thanks for response!
