    Hi everyone...

I'm getting sync loose if I capture with PicVideo MJPEG codec in any program. When I try other codec or uncompressed I don't have any problem... Any idea to solve it???

    Thanks in advance

I had trouble with that codec with VirtualVCR. I had the use the codec named "Picvideo mjpeg compressor." Don't know if that helps or not

Does the video go gradually out of sync or is it out by the same amount throughout?

I capture with MJPEG regularly and occasionally get captures out of sync. Whilst the file is still an avi it is usually repairable.

  6. Could be the quality of your VHS which cause the capture to decay out of sync. How was the quality of the VHS, did it have any drop outs, or tracking problems on the VHS you tried to capture.

when the picture is perfectly still pic vido losses frames to achieve compression. I reccomend declicking audio sync and seeing what happens.
