You need to "unpack" the audio of the AVI file first... How to do that?
1)Dll VirtualDub (www.virtualdub.org)
2)Start it
3)Open your AVI
4)in VIDEO menu, select, DIRECT STREAM COPY
5) In audio menu: COMPRESSION -> NO COMPRESSION (i think that will be the first option)
CONVERSION -> Make sure the little round of 44100Hz is marked, probably 48000Hz will be marked... not good, you need to make it 44.1Khz)
CLICK ON FULL PROCESSING MODE
6)FILE -> SAVE AVI
you're done...
now try to open it in TMPGWanne earn something a couple of dollars?
