Ive been converting divx movies to vcd's for a year now and have never had the first problem. I use the basic vcd setings provided with tmpgenc and everything has worked great. But recently ive found a few divx movies that tmpgenc will encode just fine, but no audio (and yes i have selected system(audio+video)).
TIA for any help any can provide.

i'd bet the movies have ac3 sound.. thats my experience... try using vdub to save the ac3 sound, convert to wav, then feed em thru together.. worked for me on a movie about a meican pistol, and another movie about some russian sniper

Had the same problem with 2 cd divx about a certain mad doctor on a killing spree and the solution I found is to
frameserve the divx from vdub to tmpenc, it works everytime don't know why but it works. And Like Mack said it could also be the ac3 thing.
