I have just encoded a movie using DVD2SVCD and when i now look at the mpg file its has "lines", i dont know how to describe it. U can se the lines more when the picture movs fast.
I have never seen this before.

Do a search on telecine or 3:2 pulldown.
You probably need to use FORCE FILM in DVD2AVI to correct for this problem -

But it seems like thats if u encode NTSC movies, the movie i have encoded is in PAL....

PAL is 2:2 pulldown or field delay.
VirtualDub and avisynth ( integrated into DVD2SVCD ) to do 2:2 pulldown conversion. I'm notpositive how though.
