I have a Pioneer DVR-A03. It's an external burner from QUE. Heard Pioneer discontinued production of A03 and instead has A04 to replace it. Bought my A03 for freaking $800, coz I was among the first ignorant, impulsive buyers when it first came out. Now I'm thinking of switching to the A04. Anybody with info on whether I should or shouldn't? Like, what's good about A04 that isn't on the A03, aside from the price?

Why fix what ain't broke?
Don't be impulsive again. What a few months for the AO5 (released in Japan now). -
If it still works keep it. I have a 2x2x16x CD-RW and a 100meg Zip drive that I still use, they still work. There is not that big a difference between the A03 and the A04 to just toss the A03 and go spend $200-$300 for an A04.

Well, if you are willing to get rid of your A03 by selling it to me for a symbolic price, then do it... otherwise, I see no reason for doing so.
