  1. What is out there for DVD authoring programs that will accept DTS rips?
SpruceUp will take *.ac3 5.1 Dolby Digital rips but what high end DVD authoring program will take DTS? When using the DVD to DVD-R guide it states that you should not rip the DTS sound track unless you have a high end DVD authoring program. My question is what one out there would allow for DTS to be imported into it?

    Thanks,

  3. Maestro works fine under XP, i use it all the while.

another good one is Sonic Scenarist and it supports all of these

    Dolby-certified Dolby Digital surround
    PCM 48/96 KHz stereo
    DTS surround
    MPEG-1 Layer II stereo
    DVD-compliant bit streams

  4. Hey spooki,
How are you able to get DVD Maestro to work let alone Sonic Scenarist to work on WinXP?

With DVD Maestro I get this "Real Time Preview functionality will not be available because no decoders have been detected."

With Sonic Scenarist I get "no dongle available closing program."

  5. You can still use Maestro if you get the error about no decoders, all this means is that you won't be able to watch the movie, you can do all the menus and add video+audio+subs etc and author it, then just play it in power DVD to make sure it's ok.

To clear the error and have realtime playback you just need to install Cinemaster 2000 software and then it works fine.

To use Scenarist you need to attach the dongle or i suppose you could probably download a modified version without the need for the dongle

I use Maestro for most of the things i do as it's the easiest to use, then use Scenarist for the more complicated projects, it takes quite a while to learn how to use this properly though.

PM me if you require any further info
