I keep getting the message that avi is not supported in TMGE yet I
know I have done dozens of movies in it. It says unrecognized file.
I know the file is good but to be sure I tried to redo one that I had
done previously which turned out fine and got the same error message this time when I tried to do it as well as trying others I had done before.
I installed the new SP1 on my XP windows and it took it down. I was
able to repair windows and everything works now but TMGE I can't
remember when it stopped working if it was after this or not.
I am getting an error message in another rendering program about the avi format. I am wondering if I am missing a code or windows upgrade messed up the codes. I don't know which one to look for.
Any help would be appreciated. I have a feeling that I am missing a
code. I looked for DirectX and did the checking thing and it says it
is working It does not show iin the add/remove programs but all the
dll's are there and the file folder.
thanks for any advice, I am lost without this program.
