    Custom tech. released a new trial of cinema craft encoder. It support
    Avisynth scripts as well as VirtualDub signpost files. As usual it is a 30 days
    trial version.
    Version 2.66.01.01 Friday, September 13, 2002

    Changes
    - Picture quality has improved.
    - Filter setting is radically changed.
    - Added inverse 3:2 pulldown function.
    - Supported sequencial still image files.
    - Supported Microsoft DV Codec.
    - Enabled to set chapter by timecode.
    - Enabled to playback movie on chapter setting window.
    - Plug-in has almost as same features as that of standalone version.
    - Enabled to start up from batch file.
    - Added context sensitive help.

    2.66 SP is only on the japan web site -- not in the english site ..

    it was posted by CCE sept 24th ..

    Image quality improved!? Compared to 2.50SP and 2.64SP? They have outdone themselves? Gotta try it. I got a 2.66 Beta and haven't tried it yet.....

    an english manual is included with the download. just open the installer with winrar and go to the "us" folder. but hey, thanks for the link. i've been wanting to try the new version out sinse i heard about it.

    CCE 2.66 has a short time trial ...

    I just downloaded and installed CCE 2.66 today and tried to encode using DVD2SVCD and got an error "Trial Period has Expired."

    Mabye it's picking up the fact that CCE has been installed 2.5 or 2.64 and was never registerd so your time is up.

    No, I have never had CCE installed. I am new at this. V2.66 is the first I have ever installed.

    Now I am going to unistall 2.66 and try 2.4.

    There is a patcher v0.4.0 for CCE 2.66.01.01 and 2.66.01.02 and it´s working fine for standalone and plugin!
