Yes, I'm having problem when I'm capturing a movie/movieclip with my "hauppauge wintv pci radio" tv-card, there is one irritating frame or what you should call it in the top of the capture, here you can watch a sample: http://www.tavelsjo-bangolf.com/example.avi there is just a 5 sec long clip (578 kb)... Take a look at the top of the movie, I don't want that frame to be there...
One more thing, what's about the quality? I mean, is it good/bad quality and is 30mb too much for 4 minutes and 30 seconds in that quality?

I also had problems with irritating frames during the time of fading effects in Premiere. I deinstalled all mpeg plugins and "unnecessary" codecs and reinstalled the capture software and Premiere. Now the picture is clear again. So, reinstalling drivers might help.

To remove that 'frame'. Just crop it out, using the Crop Options...
If you're using VirtualDub, go to Video -> Cropping... -> Set Bounds... And accomdate to your liking. And don't forget to choose Enable after setting the bounds!
