I have a question, i have just redone my system, I have XP Pro, PIII800 with Turtle Beach Santa Cruiz, when I start the WinDVR 2.0 software I can hear the audio but when I record it the audio is gone, then I noticed that the Recording volume for Line In is turned down all the way, I then reset it to all the way up, opened WinDVR recorded a video, closed the program & then I noticed the recording volume turned itself back down all the way. How can I fix this so it stays up all the way?
Thanx
I use a Ti4600 capture card for video

Have you checked the windows Xp volume/multimedia settings to make sure the Line-In isn't causing the "muting" problem there.
Also, maybe a silly suggestion, but check for any "save settings" type options for your sound card properties/control programs,& also check that Auxillary in isn't active.
In my case for my Soundblaster Live, I noticed the Line-In & Aux-in conflicted when both switched on,so make sure only one or the other is active.
Hope it helps.
