  1. OK, I've been burning VCDs with VCDEasy for maybe a month now, when my ASPI drivers all of a sudden become invalid (no, I have no clue what might have happened). Sure, CDRDAO would fail to load every once in a while, but rebooting would solve that. I've updated VCDEasy (v1.1.1 -> v1.1.2) and followed the procedure in an FAQ (from vcdeasy.com) to update my drivers from v4.5 to v4.71.

    Now they're upated and I'm still recieving the same error message as before:
    "No CD Writer/reader found or ASPI drivers problem"

    I have no idea what to do now. Help!

    P.S. - Yes, I updated my CDRDAO to v1.1.5 also.

  3. A'ight, thanks, KingJohn. I downloaded and installed ForceASPI 1.7 and voila! it's all better.

    For any other newbies out there with this problem, you can find a few links to ForceASPI 1.7 here.
