  1. I have a Divx avi file of a movie and am trying to put on a vcd. I used Nero 5.5.9.0 and it encoded it and I burned it at 24x. The problem is with the playback I get these color blocks popping on the screen and the picture seems to change scenes a little jumpy? The original playback of the divx was crystal clear ,what happened to the vcd? What am I doing wrong ,or what can I try to get a better quality vcd?

    Thanks

TMPGenc will usually beat any of the other encoders for quality on VCD MPEG-1. To anser your second question, the better the quality settings, the longer it will take to encode.
Impossible to see the future is. The Dark Side clouds everything...
