  3. Well, perhaps...lol. Are you saying that the chapter thumbnails can be full motion but the background can't? If so, that is good. However, is there any authoring software that does both background and chapter thumbnail full-motion? iDVD 2.1 on a MacIntosh does it but I want to know if there is anything for Windows.

Let me know. Thanks for your quick response.

  7. OK, so I downloaded DVD Workshop Demo as you guys recommended and I can't figure out how you import AVI files or MPG-2 files...or, can you? Do I have to re-capture them again? And can you download more temples for menus, there doesn' seem to be too many?

    Help me please?

  11. To make motion menus just jump right in. I assume you know how to create chapters in the edit mode. Click on the menu tab. Whe the Create New Menu screen comes up click on the cancel button. You should have a blank black menu. Drag and drop ypur chapters where you wnat the thumbnails on the menu. Onver on the left click on the menu tab. Click on the motion menu. Uncheck the menu time out action. Under motion menu there is a 20 for 20 seconds. Click on the down arrow and pick the time you want for the duration of the motion. Next in the center left you will pick the background video. If it does not display background video click on the down arrow and pick general video. Drag and drop a video on the background of the menu. In the upper left the motion background should be checked. Now click on the button tab. Click on each button on your menu and click the motion button block on the left. Each button should have the mation button checked. Now click the finish tab at the top. Click the play button on the control. The preview motion menu on the left will ungray. Click on it. It will render the video for yourbuttons and your background so you can see what it looks like. All the rest you should be able to figure out on your own. You won't need any new templates you can create your own. I hope this helps you get started.
