I am capturing video from my HI8 campcorder using scenalyzer and the captured video has this horizontal line a couple of pixels wide running through the bottom of the video. I believe this is the tracking line from the tape head. How do I remove this from the captured video?

Use the null transform filter of vdub and crop the video,
