    I'm trying to use Tmpgenc to convert a Divx movie to DVD (mpeg2) and I follow the instructions on this website....the program begins converting and then seems to stop suddenly about 1/3 of the way through with no error message or any reason....What gives?

    Have you checked the DivX video for junk frames in Virtual Dub?
