  1. Just to tell you Johnny Foreigners that we in the uk can have earthquakes too!

    4.8 on the Richter scale may be small potatoes to you lot in california or tokyo but in west bromwich (ONLY 2 miles from the epicentre) its massive!

    There are no casualties but there have been reports of a broken china teacup in the dudley area.... and my dog (maggie) went berzerk and i would have poopped my pants if i had realised what was going on sooner!

  2. Yep - I felt the tremor too at about 1am GMT. Here in the E Midlands, the only tremors occur when our local football teams get promoted to the Premier. Didn't last very long though - a bit like our time in the top flight.
