program to extract/correct corrupted frames in a movie

i have copied a badly scratched vcd to hdd.although it took some time but i was able to copy the complete disc . but now when i try to play it in any media player the movie hangs and crashes the system(win 9 8). i have tried playing the dat file in many players and movie editors such as
windows media player 6.4,zoom player 2.8,bs player etc
i have tried to correct the partly corrupted(blocks in some frames) movie using softwares such as
vcdgear 3,myflix 3,mpeg corrector,vcdcutter 4,ifilmedit
but none of them worked.
is there any other software that would allow me to extract the bad frames from the movie ?? any help about this topic would be greatly appreciated..
