Hey,
ok, i got my dvd-r today... I burned a small 1 minute clip onto a dvd-rw...
The menus are cut off on the top, bottom and sides on the tv screen, there are no black lines how ever, it is full screen, just cut off... I tried changing the settings on the dvd player, but that didnt help...
Also, the clip that is on the dvd-rw, the audio pauses for a few seconds, every few seconds...
I am playing the disc on a pinoeer dv-343 and am using a Verbatim DVD-RW, i am authoring with Spruce Up...
The disc works fine in my dvd player on the computer, just not the tv... Could it be that my player doesnt like dvd-rw, but then why would the menu do that? Thats just weird... The DVD Player compatibility list says it works with DVD-RW, thats why i bought it.... Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
Matthew

What is your bit rate ? (too high video bit rate is known to cause this problem)
Why don't you try MyDVD! (which comes with the DVD-R) It works fine for me.
Thank you. -
Hey,
Ok, i fixed the audio problem... I am now using DVDit... The menu problem is still there... I am going to try to use a driffrent resolution picture, right now I am using the highes 1024 something, so, i figure the dvd player may say its to big and crop it...

dvd resolution is
740x540 i think
a height of 1,000 is way way to big.
