I'm looking at getting a dvd-rw drive and dunno which one to go for. I've just got a basic cd-rw drive, and am having real trouble making vcds. Maybe if i get a dvd-rw drive it'd be easier, then i could make dvds!!
Just wanted to know whats the best or the cheapest that anyone has found so far?
Any help will be apprecited
Cheers
Bev

got my cendyne (pioneer clone) from officemax.com for $213 after mail-in rebate...
it's backordered so i'm hoping i even get the drive. -
i think buying a dvd-rw isnt a really good solution TO YOUR PROBLEM because u have real trouble making vcds.
as copying/authoring dvd's are some work also.....most dvd's are dual layered so just ripping and straight copying wont work unless u are gonna rip to 2 different dvd's which basically is a waste of a disc
