I know I put this question in another post, but since that post dealt with TMPGenc subject material, I was afraid the Panasonic gurus would miss it. Mods, please feel free to delete if necessary.

Feel free to check out my computer specs in my profile. I'm running Win2K, which I've heard has issues with PME, or vice versa. My problem? Panasonic won't encode for me.

I'm frameserving an .m2v file via DVD2AVI into AviSynth. In AviSynth, I'm IVTCing, trimming, cropping, etc. I load my .avs into Panny, choose my encode settings, and press "Start Encoding." Panasonic LOOKS like it's encoding for a second or two, then the status bar zooms over to the right, and tells me it's finished. But all it's produced is a 0KB unusable file. Then it crashes.

Does anyone know why this happens?
