VCD header trick?

I'm a bit confused with the vcd header trick to make a svcd play back on a normal dvd/vcd player that won't play svcd's. I am using dvd2svcd. When DVD2SVCD has completed I have my normak bin/cue files also I have seperarted audio and video. I have tried using the seperated audio/video and use TMPG as described on the instructions on this forum, but then what do I do. If I take what I have finished and drop and drag it using Nero for VCD it simply changes it to a VCD with vcd quality. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks Will

You shouldn't use Nero's Wizard! Close it, select "New" and then "SVCD" on the left. Unchecking "standard compliant CD" could also help.

Close the wizard, go to "File" -> "New" and select "Super Video CD". What's the problem??
