I am trying to make a title, and then have it crossed out with a big X. I know like how to fade and X on but I want it to be like drawn on. Does anybody have any ideas how to do that?

Well, I assume you know you can stack video / title tracks in Premiere up to 99 levels. So you put your title on track 2 or higher, then place your "X" on track 3 or higher.
If you know about Alpha Channels, you freehand your "X" in a program that supports saving with Alpha Channels (Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, ULEAD Photoimpact) and save. Premiere also supports just importing a layer. This would give you an "X" where the background is automatically transparent.
If you are unfamiliar with layers, then just freehand your "X" lets say red on a black background in Paint. Use 720x480 frame for NTSC DV.
Inport that BMP file to Premiere and place on video track 3 or higher. Right click the file and go to Video Options -> Transparency. Use Chroma keying to key out the black background. You can also use rubber banding on this track to make the "X" fade in / and or out. -
is there a way to make it so it like makes the x in the video, like actually draws it? where there would be motion? and thanks for the post
