    How can I record the audio file in mp3 format from video clips that are in the following formats: RealMedia, Realplayer & Windows Media Audio/Video Shortcut?

    Download www.goldwave.com (get the MP3 plug-ins as well)

    With this you can set it up to record, while you playback those formats.

    Or use Gold wave to load AVI, so you could save it out to MP3

    I think you need to spend some time in the help guides if you dont know what an AVI is !! this is the most common format used for movies.
