    I am capturing DV with Pinnacle Express and can capture over 8 Gig with no problems. The problem I am having is that when I export from Premiere 6.02 using the Microsoft DV codec my computer freezes up at 7.99 Gig. I can export in smaller chunks, I know, but I'd rather not.

    My setup is:
    Windows 2000
    Intel 845BG
    P4 2 Ghz
    512 MB DDR
    All data drives NTFS

    get the main concept DV codec ... and/or upgrade premiere to version 6.5
