Hi guys,
I have a 15 min. video on Mini-DV tape.
My hardware has Pinnacle Studio DV capture card ( firewire ),
and Pinnacle Studio version 7 software.
I would like some advices regarding the "Capture Format" settings
on Studio 7 :
- On "Presets" , instead of using Full DV quality, if I choose Custom-quality preview, I will have acess to the other settings. Then, on Video Settings, on Compression, would it be better, as I read somewhere, to use YUV2 instead of default DV Video Encoder ? How bigger will the captured files be ? Would also Huffyuv be a good alternative ?
The other settings would be 720 x 480 and , in the case of Mini-DV , 29,97 fps . I will use captured material for DVD, SVCD and / or VCD production.
As for audio, I am using PCM , 16 bit stereo, 48 KHz.
As for encoding I use TMPGEnc . In this case, I would have to use Deinterlace filter on TMPGEnc if encoding to MPEG1 ( VCD ). What about the field option on Deinterlace filter ?
On Video Arrange Method, what setting should be used ? Center (keep aspect ratio) or Full Screen (Keep Aspect Ratio ) or custom size ?
Thank's for your help.
