  1. Hi just installed nimo light to see if that would help solve my problem with running an AVI movie, it didn't howeverwindows media player is now saying that in order for the movie to be played it needs the YUY2 codec can someone point me in the right direction as to where I can grab this from.

    I believe huffyuv ( freeware ) installs a yuv->rgb translation filter.

    In win98se you have to edit the system.ini drivers-drivers32
    and point it to the Huffy codec if you want to override the default dll.

    I believe the info comes with the codec

    I am not using the huffy right now but mine looks like this:

    VIDC.YUY2=MSYUV.DLL

    I don't know how it looks in other win OS.
    There's not much to do but then I can't do much anyway.

    like snowmoon said .. try the huffyuv codec.

    Just look on the panel at the left under OTHER TOOLS Codecs.
    There's not much to do but then I can't do much anyway.

  6. Yeah thanks I downloaded the huffyuv codec from tools and tried to install it, but it was asking fot the huffyuv.dll. Thia wasn't in the codec that I downloaded.

    Can someone send me the dll file or tell me where to get it.
