I've stripped the audio and video of a MPEG2 file in TMPGEnc. The original MPEG2 plays fine in Windows Media Player. I then enhance the audio and then recombine with the video using the "simple multiplex" tab in TMPGEnc. This process seems to go smoothly and the new MPEG2 file is created. When I try to view it under WMP I get an error which says that Windows Media Player has caused an error in IVIAUDIO.AX

I've tried this over and over again with the same results. I've even gone out to Microsoft's support site and upgraded to the latest versions of WMP and DirectX. I'm running WinME but don't know if this matters.
Anybody run into this error before??. Is there some other program to use for Remuxing perhaps?
    Thanks

Sorry - bad posting. I just found out you can't mux an MP3 file in with an MPEG2 and expect it to work.
