    I just saw at wal-mart this slim-design DVD Player but I am not sure about the details for the file formats it supports and whether it is hackable or not ? I browsed through the DVD Players List on this site but I coudn't find it? Does anyone know if this player can play SVCD and XSVCD? Is there another site besides VCDHelp.com that has more info ?

    Just FYI - bought the Father-in-Law a Toshiba SD-310V (SD310V) for $98 at Wal-Mart. Does not seem to play SVCD. At least it didn't play the 3 SVCDs (Alias Episode and a couple of episodes of "Taken") that I KNOW work on my Apex 1600.

    Anyway, we are taking it back tomorrow to get the Apex.
