  1. Here's me prob ..... I`m wanting to have a mess around with video capture (dvds, vhs etc) but have hit a snag.
I have installed a wintv go cap card no probs and used the WDM drivers, I hook the dvd player (philips DVD711) up the card using straight thru 5.0mil fem phono connection + the usual two fem to one 3.5mil stereo jack for me audio and then fire up the tv application software...... I can see and hear what i`m wanting to cap on the wintv app no probs (when im using a vcd that is .... my dvd originals play all funny .. i assume this is the macro protection ... anyone know how to get around this?) .. anyway, I can see what i`m wanting to cap ok so i close down the wintv app and then fire up vdub, go to file, capture and then ..... nothing ..... vdub crashes after giving me the message that the cap drivers are already in use by another app.
I`ve tried ctrl+alt+del shutting down the offending app but still it won`t do it for me .... i`m getting really pissed off with this and would love a bit of straight forward english help

Oh and don`t recommend vcdhelp.com coz i`ve been there (thats how I got as far as I have).

Could also do with a bit of help in regards to the macro disabling bit of me player/card?

    Any help greatly appreciated
