  1. I've got AVI,MPG and MPEG movies and want to burn them to CD's, thought Nero could do that, what files does Nero take and how can I convert them to that file? thanx

  2. Nero takes everything, but it depends what You plan to do with the disk. If You plan to play it on PC, burn as data and without conversion. If You want to play them on any stand-alone player, read converting and authoring guides left from here.
Nero can convert (with plug-in) but there are better programs out there to do this task. For basic VCD/SVCD authoring Nero is good enough.

  3. Nero takes all Mp** files. I think you need to disable that Nero wizzard first

After you did that, go to NEW COMPILATION(that's the white paper with a little CD on the foreground) there you have all sorrts of CD's you can make... In the first section: ISO9000 (or sumtin like that :P ) in MULTISESSION, select the round: NO MULTISESSION(i do that cuz if i don't select NO MULTISESSION, the stupid program doesn't burn a TOC(table of contents) and my cd is ruined ) then you scroll down in the left side, you will see: VIDEO CD and SUPER VIDEO CD

If you have MPG files, you need to select SUPER VIDEO CD, if you have regular MPEG1 files, you select VIDEO CD
    That's about all it accepts

You sayd you had AVI files... hmm, you need to convert them first...

    check there

oh ya, if your DVD isn't able to read Super VCD's, you can burn MPG(SVCDfiles) to a regular VCD, that works fine for me.

  5. that's not my domain...
But i think, if you can make an image file of your DVD... and burn that to a DVD-rom, it should work

UNLESS, you don't have sumtin called: a MOD chip, you need that thing to be able to play your copied games...
