DVD player RCA RC5215P

Trying to find out if anyone else has this dvd player and knows what cdr's will work in vcd format on it. So far I have only found a CDRW...the LG 650MB. Desperately looking for cdr's that might work,,,any suggestions?

I don't know if it's in the same series, buti bought the RCA 5240p and it plays vcds flawlessly on any type of cdr media. Havent tried SVCD or XVCD yet though, tell me if you know

No,,,this dvd player does not play all cdr's....I have already tried,,maxell 700 MB and Verbatim 700 MB,,neither of them have worked. Have only gotten the one cdrw to work so far and that is it. Looking for cdr's that work ,,,as they are cheaper to buy. Thanks for the response though.

is the LG in LG 650mb shortened? because i to have a rc5215p and i want to know of any working cd-r/w's that work in it... i have tried fujifil and max.. plat.. cd-rws with no luck...

No LG is not shortened,,,,it is the name of the manufacturer for the burner I have and they also make the cdrw's.
