Is there any info on the correlation between MPEG encoding speed and particular operating systems & file systems?
for example - Will NT 4.0/NTFS perform better than 98SE/FAT32 ?
I plan on doing my own analysis (after I figure out a few dozen things!) Tips are much appreciated.
I must say, DV is the most complex system I've tackled. The dive into C++ years back was cake compared to this. I've a great deal of respect for you guys & the PC-DVD community.
