Okay i can do vcd movies using smartripper dvd2avi and tmpgenc. Now i want to tackle SVCD's. I have tmpgenc plus 2.5.. i choose the supervcd template and the default is cbr of 2050 and res of 480x480. and field order A

now i encoded a svcd like this and it was all shaky from on the tv and i want to know what i should change first? i tried changing field order to b and i couldnt run a simple mulitplex with that mpeg ( i do this to put the mpeg1 header on it for my dvd player- Toshiba sd3750) it said it was an unrecognized mpg format. i encoded one w/ vbr and am going to test it when i get home. but if that doesnt stop the shaking what could it be

Not one that's in the forum but a good guide none the less: http://www.afterdawn.com/articles/archive/dvd2svcd_with_tmpgenc.cfm
You could also download DVD2SVCD and let it do the work for you, but then again where's the fun in that?
    Warning! I'm baaaaaaaaack
