Hi All,
I am capturing home videos in avi format from my digital camcorder. I then convert the avi to mpg (svcd) using tmpgenc. Before I burn it I would like to use DVD Movie Factory to create a menu effect when I play the svcd in my dvd player.
When I convert the file using tmpgenc, how much space on the svcd should I leave to allow the extra data for the menu?
I'm sure some of it depends on the amount of chapters I wish to add, but I wanted to know if anybody had a good approximation.
I found this out the hard way.......I tried it like this......
Using tmpgenc, I set the quality of the svcd to fill the disc 100% and then added the menu's. dvd movie factory than tried to burn it, however, after it burned the mpg file, it had no room to add the menu data, so the burning stopped, and the disc is a coster.
Thanks,
Jeff
