Hi, I'm new to Media studio pro and although Ive managed to put some TV clips together and preview bits of them in the editor but I cant get it to output to a single file before recording to tape. I know that windows has a single file limit at 4GB but as I have 3 MPEG2 clips (each just over 700Mb) joined together with some titles, colour blocks and transitions the output should be in the region of 2.2-2.3 GB. I set the output to run over night (it predicted over 3 hours for rendering) and awoke this morning to find a single 160Mb file which appeared to have no video element. I assumed that by default I had asked it to produce just audio but the default is audio and video. The preview rendering seems to work OK for short clips but crashed when trying to do the whole thing. Am I missing something or is it a more fundamental limitation of the PC (Duron800, 256Mb DDR RAM, 30Gb HD. (The source video was captured using DVC2 and converted using TMPGEnc the whole project is set to produce MPEG2, NTSC, 720x480, CBR-3000kps, with 44.1KHz 224kbps audio.) Any advice apreciated![]()
