    I just read that in the future the ps2 will be able top play MP3/MPEG1/MPEG2/MPEG4 and DivX with the help of some software and the online-kit..

    It plays files from your pc through the ps2 on your TV

    Also heard while talking about this that the Xbox plays divx too using some mod.
