    hi i hope someone can help, i have a problem playing back vcd/svcd (.bin file) on my standalone player (limit jdv300a/bush dvd 2004) the picture is choppy. am i right in thinking the bitrate is too high for the player or is it the media?, any help is very appreciated.

    Probably. What bitrate was the movie encoded at? If it exceeds the standard, than your taking your chances as to whether or not it will play correctly.

    how can i find out what bitrate it was encoded at, then can i re-encode it?
