I have the Matshita DVD-RAM LF-D310 dvd burner and I also use Nero for my burning software. The problem comes with these 2 comunicating to each other. I have burned with Nero using my Matshita drive for maybe 6 or 7 times successfully (DVD's didn't work right on my standalone dvd player, but they were burned on to the dvd-r). Now when I try to write the DVD, Nero says its waiting for the drive information and waiting and waiting...it never finds the info. My computer shows that the Matshita is working correctly and I also can play DVDs on it. But still Nero and another software that I have use are having trouble reading it. Does someone out there know anything about Matshita, because there is nothing out there that has helped me yet. Any help would be great.![]()

Works fine here, both in and out of a Firewire enclosure.
Sorry can't help you. Is your Windows install or your Nero install correct?
