Hi,
I have a Sharp DV-NC55 VCR/DVD Combo, according to the manual it is able to play DVD-R & DVD-RW along with SVCD. I am about to buy a DVD writer, and was told by the shop that DVD+ is better. Does anyone know if I can play DVD+ discs in this player (or any DVD- player)? If not, is DVD- still a viable format or would I be better off looking for a different DVD player completely and still buying DVD+?
On an aside, anyone know of a region hack for this model (Sharp DV-NC55 VCR/DVD), been looking for over a year with no luck.
Sorry for so many questions.
Thanks in advance
Caine
