The only authorware I've used is MyDVD because it came with my DVD burner. It only suppots PCM audio which uses 40% of the file for audio. Reduces by about 25% the video you can store! Which authorware supports AC3 audio ??

DVD Workshop. (You have to multiplex video and AC3 streams before importing to the program - use TMPGenc utility to do this). DVDWS will author without reecoding if your file is compliant.

i didnt know it could even multiplex ac3 -- learned something ... not that i need to multiplex it as the authoring program does it .. -
I've multiplexed 2/0, 3/0 & 3/2 AC3 with it and the burned DVDs play just fine. I don't know whether DVD WS is doing something extra to the file after its imported (it definitely doesn't reencode the video)
