  1. I have a movie that it's one hour and 56 minutes long. after ripping it with smartripper and running ifoedit, the file of the movie is 5.5 GB. I tried to follow Blackout's tutorial but I have a win98 machine (Original winxp but I did not like it) and I can't run DVD maestro. Is there any other way to fit this movie on a dvd-r. I have TMPGenc + but I can't get the MPEG file with the audio together and it does not work with SONIC DVDit. I like DVDit because it actually lets me make a folder before burning the dvd. Any suggestions?.

    Thanks

  2. it's a little big, yes..
You probably have to re-mpeg the stream.
There 2 ways of doing this:
    1) Re-author the disc with an authoring program, like Sonic
    2) put the stream back into the vobs using IfoEdit, but this can only be done if rempegged with "Rempeg2"

I don't really know if rempeg2 can split the m2v file up in 1gb files, but i suggest you to use Win2000 or XP and use the NTFS file-system, so u can use larger files.

You can tune XP that it looks exactly like 98 if you want to, but if you are using such large files... it's the best way ...
