  1. in TMPGEnc when i try to open an avi movie to encode, it says its unsupported......iv'e been on this for weeks and cant get it supported, any help, please?

  2. will the avi play in your media player? try getting the NIMO CODEC PACK. dont forget if you dont have the VFAPI Plug in installed with TMPGEnc it wont play some types of files.

  3. yes, it plays in media player. the problem is whenever install nimo, half way through installation it says that one of the files cant be found.....no matter where i download it from. where can i get the VFAPI plug in?

  4. VFAPI Plug in is available at www.tmpgenc.com, you can also update your version. make sure you get the plug in that coincides with the version of TMPGEnc that you have. You will download it into the same file as TMPGEnc, then you will just click on the install.bat file.

  8. Ok after you have the vfapi plugin go to your options tab environmental tab then you right click on direct media i set mine to 1 try 1 or 2 it will be
    set at -1 or-2 so right click till you get the value 1 or 2....i had the same prob as you this fixed it!

  9. okay, this is the second time i have been told this, how can i get that to work? when i go to enviromental tab i dont see "direct media"

  10. okay, now i see what you mean by direct media, but when i rightclick it and click "higher priority" it dissapears off the list instead of the priority going up, whats up with that?

  11. ok when you right click you should see a list higher priority lower etc when you select higher it will go -1 0 1.....and it will move up to the first spot on list.....if none of this is working try a reinstall.......

  12. k, well i got it to work, but it still stops at 39%, the avi file is bad and i need to know how to get rid of the junk frames or whatever, when i try to scan fpr junk frames on Vdub it just says its undecodable. help please
