In an effort to fit 2 Buffy the Vampire Slayer VCD episodes onto one 80 minute CD, I used TMPGenc to cut out the opening and closing credits. Each episode has a 2 or 3 minute intro before the opening credits, and I have already successfully cut and saved that part of the episode-- it plays fine. Next, I tried to cut off the beginning and end credits, so I would just have the rest of the episode, and would then be able to join that with the intro. I cut this part successfully, but the sound is out of sync by a little less than a second. It is quite noticeable and annoying. Does anyone know why the sound is out of sync each time I try this? If not, do you know of a way I can manually put the video and audio in sync, or know of a different free or downloadable program I can use? The episode is in VCD format, and I used the "How to edit/join/split a MPEG-1/MPEG-2 with TMPGEnc" tutorial located here: http://www.vcdhelp.com/tmpgencedit.htm . Please help! Thanks.
