hi virtualdub will nly let me capture in like 350 x 300 (or something their their abouts)
anything higher and it says unsupported video format.. when I first tried to do it it game me some info why but I can get the info back up-- something to do with drivers or something... can anyone tell me how to fix this problem as I really want to use virtualdub to capture with
(I dont have this prob with other not as good capture devices :S)

What capture device? What drivers?
Have you tried turning off overlay and just using preview? -
haupaugge wintv go using their drivers....
is their better drivers?

They should work, just turn off overlay and use preview. Then set up your capture ( I think they limit to 640x480 ).
If you want higher than 640x480 or have difficulty getting that far use the universal drivers

They seem to work well as long as you dom't mind dumping wintv2000 and using dscaler. -
For straight tv/video watching it's the best out there. Built in HQ de-interlace and 3:2 pulldown detection and removal.

I cant even get my old drivers working now
